Our members are U.S. military veterans from all branches of service—men and women who served with honor and continue to serve with purpose. We also welcome eligible family members to join our affiliated organizations: the American Legion Auxiliary and Sons of the American Legion.

Post 37 exists to support veterans, active-duty service members, and their families through camaraderie, advocacy, and service. We provide a place for veterans to connect, heal, and lead—offering programs and outreach that ensure no veteran is left behind.

  • Veteran Support – Whether it's through benefit assistance, local resources, or simply being there when a veteran needs help, we make it our mission to take care of our own.

  • Community Engagement – From Memorial Day ceremonies and parades to youth programs like Boys State and Legion Baseball, Post 37 is committed to strengthening civic pride and patriotic values.

  • Honor and Remembrance – We are proud caretakers of local history, honoring those who served and remembering the legacy of sacrifice that built this nation.

  • Advocacy – We speak up for veterans’ rights at the local, state, and national levels, working to ensure those who served receive the care, benefits, and recognition they deserve.

Boyd, a local hero who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation, our Post is dedicated to upholding the core values of the American Legion: service to veterans, service to our nation, and service to our community.
